“Bacon” Parmesan Twists With Sweet Dijon Dipping Sauce



16 ounces prepared pizza dough, divide into 12 pieces

12 slices of vegan bacon

½ cup vegan Parmesan cheese, grated


2 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon maple syrup


Preheat oven to 425°f. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to form a long sticks, about 7 inches in length and about 1 inch thick. Wrap a slice of “bacon” around each dough stick. Roll each dough stick in Parmesan cheese until well coated. If dough isn’t sticky enough and the Parmesan needs some help sticking to the dough, brush with a very small amount of water, and then roll in Parmesan cheese.

Arrange sticks evenly on baking sheet lined with high temperature resistant parchment paper and bake for 8-10 minuets or until dough is cooked throughly and twists are golden brown. Whisk together mayonnaise, mustard and maple syrup to make dipping sauce. Serve twists with dipping sauce.
