My Life Journey Living with Allergies

Having multiple allergies for so many years, doesn’t get any easier, after living with it for the past 23 years you really expect it to get easier, and people would be a bit more understanding, supportive and compassionate’ oh no that’s not the case instead I have spoken to a few people in my situation and we’re leave to feel alone and Isolated and judged for having multiple allergies a sickness we didn’t choose.

Socialising with people is one of the hardest things to do, “why” I can’t control the environment I’m in, meaning the smell of people their perfumes, cologne, or even if you’re friendly with such ones that will take a lot of understanding and compassion to control the environment to socialise with people. Having multiple allergies and engaging with ‘others if they’re “willing” to have you as part of their gathering without wearing perfumes or cologne hairspray etc. In my case I’ll have 10 out of a 100 who is willing to do so, as for the public I don’t care, this is about friends and family this is where understanding and compassion starts.

To socialise I need to take an Antihistamine everyday for the rest of my life to dampen my system, sometimes I don’t because I feel like a zombie! Wanting to sleep twenty four hours, it doesn’t matter what Antihistamines I’m given it still has that effect on me. Spending time socialising by the time I leave I’ll get a coffee before driving home because I feel so exhausted, My body is old mobile phone that can’t keep it charge because it needs to have its battery replaced. Once I’m home it doesn’t matter if I have things to do I need to get into bed and have my body fully charged before doing anything else, the bigger the crowd the harder it’s for me, it will take me 72 hours to get back to normal. Just by spending time around people this includes air conditioner, carpet, smells, foods etc..

Becoming Vegan is even better for my health, l always struggle with Irritable bowl syndrome since cutting out meat’ should say chicken, I’m more likely to eat chicken as for lamb, beef and pork wasn’t doing anything for my health, as for Sea-foods, and Dairy I haven’t had for the past 23 years so I really haven’t missed out anything it’s easier for me to go vegan with my restricted lifestyle eating healthy is a must for me, before I was struggling with bowel movement not going to the toilet 1-2 times every week was normal for me. Becoming Vegan’ now I’m having regular bowel movement twice in one day which is not normal for me! but this is what’s happening all I did was to remove chicken from my diet which I would usually have, I’m never a lover of eggs or things like ham etc.

If you’re new to Veganism one of the main concern might be about getting enough of the good fats, Vitamins, and nutrients that keep you fit and healthy.
Vegans are often hounded with questions surrounding health and nutrition and getting enough’. People will be curious, bewildered and and entirely baffled when it comes to how you go about managing a plant-based diet, the best thing is to educate yourself on nutrition and how to maintain a balance diet that doesn’t compromise on health. My list of supplements are A-Z complete Vitamins & Minerals, Optibac, Zinc citrate, Magnesium Malate, Linseed Capsules, Mega Gla, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Vitamins B Complex, Just recently my Dietician asked me to add some Vitamins D now that winter starts again. Most of these capsules I have been taken for twenty years just ran out of Linseed capsules and magnesium but here’s a picture of some.
