1 small cauliflower, cut into florets
200 g/7 oz Marconi pasta
2 quantities cheese sauce
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
Cook the macaroni in pan of boiling water according to the packet instructions.
Meanwhile prepare the cheese sauce.
Once everything is ready. Mix them together, then transfer to a baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes until browned. Serve with bread or potatoes.
How to make cheeze sauce ..
250 ml8 fl oz water
130 g/4 ½ oz (cashews nuts) if allergic to nuts swapped nuts for chickpeas
1 tsp lemon juice
2 spring onions chopped
2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
¼ tsp salt
Blend all the ingredients until smooth, then gently heat in a pan until thick and creamy. This simple dairy-free cheeze sauce can be poured over steamed vegetables and rice, or stirred through pasta or served as a dip with oven rainbow oven fries.
