Potato Peel

Sometimes we prepare dishes with potatoes that need to have the skin removed, once we peel skin from potatoes we dump it in the food pin right! Since we’re under lockdown I’m thinking of how can I be more creative with my recipes and save food instead of waisting food, I decided to keep the potatoes peeling and wash it and season well with salt and pepper and this is what I did..


16 oz/1 lb potato peeling washed

Pinch of salt

1 tsp garlic granules

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1 cup olive oil,

1 tsp thyme


Preheat stove to a high heat and pour oil into a large frying pan, Wash potatoes peeling either before peeling the potatoes or after, then leave to dry on paper towel for awhile then add salt and garlic granules and cayenne pepper, ground thyme. Place the potato peeling with all the ingredients in a bowl and shake to combine all ingredients. Add to hot oil and fry until nice and crispy and serve as a side dish.
